It is submitted that the Industry is a Rice Sheller unit for the manufacturing of Dry/Sorted Rice @ 2 TPH with dryer. The Industry has been granted Consent to Establish vide no. CTE/Fresh/BTI/2023/21820148 dated 8.05.2023 valid upto 7.05.2024. Now, the industry has applied for obtaining CTO under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for operation of the rice sheller. The rice sheller has deposited Rs. 42000/- vide no. 83371784 & 491726519 dated 18.5.2024 against the CA value of 120 lacs which is adequate upto 31.3.2028. To check the compliance status of the Industry, the industry was visited on 3.06.2024 and it was observed as under: 1. The Industry was not in operation during the visit. 2. The Industry has installed separate cyclones as APCD with the shelling section and with the paddy cleaner of the dryer section with adequate sampling arrangement. 3. The Industry has started work to provide pucca road within the premises for the movement of vehicles during visit bricks have been brought at site and compaction was going on. 4. The Industry has provided fresh plantation within the premises. 5. The Industry has provided a windscreen (Jali) over the 10 feet boundary wall in the husk storage area however the same got damaged due to storm during visit work to reinstall the jali was going on. 6. The Industry has provided septic tank for treatment of the domestic effluent with disposal of the effluent onto plantation. The industry has submitted undertaking that the works will be carried out regarding road stabilization and installation of wind screen within 15 days.
From the above, it is clear that the industry is complying the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.
If approved, Consent to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with validity upto 31.3.2028 for the manufacturing of Dry/Sorted Rice @ 2 TPH with dryer with special condition that:
1. The industry will provide wind screen in the husk storage area within 15 days.
2. The industry will provide pucca movement area within 15 days. |
