The industry is engaged in the process of manufacturing Iron & Steel Forging, Agricultural Parts, Tractor Linkage Parts/Truck & Trailer Parts. 3. The manufacturing process of the industry is MS Round/Flat/Square Cutting  Hot Forging  Trimming Normalizing  Grinding  Machining  Phosphating (if required) Paint/Powder Coating Packing Dispatch. 4. The industry has installed following Main machinery:- • 10 No. heating furnaces, out of which 6 are electric and 4 are Gas fired with adequate stack height. • 1 No. LPG fired screw forging furnace with adequate stack height. • 3 No. electric Gas Carbonizing Furnaces. • 3 No. electric normalizing furnaces. • 4 No. shot blasting machines with in-built bag house as APCDs with adequate stack height. • 3 No. powder coating booth with powder recovery units as APCD with adequate stack height. • 1 No. paint booth with water curtain as APCD. • 1 No. automatic LPG fired baking oven and 1 No. simple oven operated with LPG. 5. The industry has installed 2 no. of D.G. set of capacity 1270 KVA & 640 KVA in acoustic enclosure with adequate stack height & 2 no. of capacity 812 KVA each fitted with canopies and adequate stack heights. 6. The industry is having a phosphating section, which was not in operation during visit. 7. It has made an agreement with M/S J.B.R. Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana @ 20,000 Lts/Month. 8. It has provided water meter in process area and reading of the same was 1185.9 KL during visit. 9. The industry is maintaining the record of water consumed in process area and lifted by the operator of CETP. As per record maintained by the industry for the period 01.01.2024 to 02.05.2024, it has consumed 31.4 KL of fresh water in process area, 25.0 KL effluent lifted by M/S J.B.R. Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and about 4.2 KL effluent was lying stored in effluent storage tank, which was in synchronization with water consumed considering the evaporation losses. 10. During visit, the samples of treated domestic effluent were collected from the final outlet of STP and were sent to Zonal Lab., Ludhiana for analysis. As per analysis report the concentration of various parameters were found : pH 7.7, TSS= 12 (mg/l), TDS= 661(mg/l), COD=32 (mg/l), BOD = 6(mg/l) and Oil & Grease = BDL, which were within the prescribed limits fixed by the Board. 11. The cooling water is re-circulated and domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation after treatment in STP in the premises of its sister concern M/S Yerik Hydraulics Pvt.
