Sir, RO reported that the industry is a newly established unit without NOC of the Board and has not started operation zinc electroplating yet.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted for six months with conditions as under:-
1. The industry will send its entire untreated effluent to CETP operator as per agreement made by it.
2. The industry shall maintain the record of the fresh water consumption for process as well as untreated effluent lifted by the CETP operator on regular basis and will submit record of six months at Regional Office.
3. Further, consent to operate will be renewed after verification of record of the fresh water consumption for process as well as untreated effluent lifted by the CETP operator of six months.
