the industry was visited on 3.06.2024 and it was observed as under: 1. The Industry was not in operation during the visit. 2. The Industry has installed separate cyclones as APCD with the shelling section and with the paddy cleaner of the dryer section with adequate sampling arrangement. 3. The Industry has started work to provide pucca road within the premises for the movement of vehicles during visit bricks have been brought at site and compaction was going on. 4. The Industry has provided fresh plantation within the premises. 5. The Industry has provided a windscreen (Jali) over the 10 feet boundary wall in the husk storage area however the same got damaged due to storm during visit work to reinstall the jali was going on. 6. The Industry has provided septic tank for treatment of the domestic effluent with disposal of the effluent onto plantation. 7. The industry has installed husk fired boiler @ 6 TPH with cyclone and adequate stack. 8. The industry has installed 8 no cooking vessels / handies.
9. Last season the industry has only commissioned/ operated for dry rice/ sorted rice and has not yet commissioned boiler section and installation of ETP is yet to be done.
The industry has installed all the machinery for the manufacturing of the steamed rice/ dry rice/ sorted rice. work regarding construction of ETP was ongoing at site.
The industry has submitted undertaking that the works will be carried out regarding road stabilization and installation of wind screen within 15 days and has requested to provide permission for steamed rice as the ETP is yet to be installed.
The industry has already completed the milling season 2023 and operated the rice sheller for manufacturing of dry rice/ sorted rice only. The husk generated as byproduct has already been stared in the premises and covered with the HDPE sheet. The work regarding the re-installation of the jali has already started at site.
The industry has made provision for discharge of the Boiler blowdown into septic tank at present however the industry informed that the same will be diverted towards ETP section on commissioning of the same.
From the above, it is clear that the industry is complying the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.
If approved, Consent to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with validity upto 31.3.2028 for the manufacturing of Steam rice @ 2TPH Raw Rice @ 3 TPH OR Raw Rice/ Sorted Rice @5 TPH with dryer with conditions that: 1. The industry will not manufacture Saila Rice without prior permission from the Board. 2. The Industry will stabilize the movement area within 15 days 3. The industry will reinstall the wind screen in the husk storage area within 15 days |
