The reply of the above observations is as under:
1. Currently, the industry has storage capacity of 10 KL of treated wastewater and has assured to increase the same by 300 KL within 6 months time. Further, no complaint regarding stagnation in nearby areas or disposal into Satluj river has been received by this office in the past.
2.The industry has planted poplar plants on 2 acres of land for discharge of treated wastewater. The soil in the region is sandy, therefore ridges & furrows as per karnal technology are not getting stabilized.
3.Further, the industry has not made any addition of land or building. Only, there is addition of new machinery for making snacks @ 300 kg/day.
