1. The industry had failed to apply for obtaining 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Therefore, Board had issued directions for disconnection of electricity. Accordingly, it had obtained 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which were valid upto 11/06/2024. Further, it has applied subject cited application for obtaining further 'Consent to Operate' under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
2. The industry is a very tiny unit and it is engaged in powder coating only on job basis. As per representative of the industry, it obtains raw material already cleaned through shot blasting, therefore, there is no requirement of phosphating before powder coating.
