It is intimated that the industry has submitted a representation before Hon'ble Chairman of the Board (copy enclosed). Also, the complainant has filed a complaint against the industry through e-mail alongwith various supporting documents, the copy of same is attached and forwarded to your office.
The industry has been issued notice u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 alongwith notice for imposition of Environmental Compensation (EC) with opportunity of personal hearing before the Chairman of the Board at Patiala on 27.06.2024. (Copy attached)
It is requested to inform the industry regarding date & time of hearing and submit recommendations in view of representation of the industry and complaint filed by the complainant against the industry through e-mail.
