It is a medium scale red category industry. As per the analysis report of industry, the TDS was found 3471 mg/lt. The industry represented before me regarding results being non-representative. Thereafter, I along with SEE got the balance sample(lying with lab) analyzed for TDS. On testing with probe it was found as 1322mg/lt whereas later it was again analyzed as 3490 mg/lt by laboratory testing. The justification given by lab regarding this huge gap in results is not convincing. Therefore, keeping in view the long pendency of this case, the consent to the industry is granted for 3 months subject to suitable conditions & special condition that the industry will get within one month its samples re-analyzed from PBTI ( State Water Lab) or Board's laboratory as per its convenience & submit results to the Board for consideration to further renew its consent.
