Air emission samples of the industry were collected on 11.06.2024 alongwith scientific staff from the port hole on stack after APCD (twin cyclone followed by bag filter provided as APCD) provided with boiler of capacity 04 TPH and as per analysis report, concentration of SPM is 186 mg/Nm3 which is within the prescribed limits. Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that varied ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Air Act, 1981 for dyeing and finishing of polyester fabric @ 12.5 metric tonnes/day or dyeing and finishing of cotton/polyester-cotton (pc) @ 05 metric tonnes/day may be granted to the industry for period upto 30.06.2026, subject to suitable conditions.
