Sir, the industry is a medium scale orange category unit and has applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 along with requisite documents. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has MSME certificate. The industry has submitted electricity bill mentioning date of connection as 17.03.2021 as a proof of date of commissioning. The industry has submitted the certificate issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide letter no. 440 dated 22.02.2024 which states that the site of the industry falls in Industrial zone as per Master Plan (2007-21). The site of industry was visited by RO on 17.06.2024 and it was reported as under:- 1. The industry was in operation during visit and engaged in forging process. 2. The industry is discharging only domestic effluent onto land for plantation after septic tank. There is no effluent generated from the process. 3. The industry has installed electric forging machinery, electric heating furnaces and electric extrusion machines in its premises. 4. The industry has installed one no. shot blasting machine with bag filter house as APCD and stack of adequate height. 5. The industry has also installed two D.G sets of capacities 180 KVA & 62.5 KVA with canopies. 6. The industry has submitted building plan from architect approved by Director of Factory, Pb. 7. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
In view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2028, please.
