In view of note and recommendations of AEE/EE RO FGS, may if approved Competent Authority be recommended as under: 1. The consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed for the period of six months with suitable conditions and special conditions as under: a) The industry shall obtain permission from the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) for the abstraction of ground water. b) The industry shall submit the stack emission analysis report from NABL/Board’s lab within 01 month. c) The industry shall install online continuous emission monitoring system with its stacks and connect the same with server of the Board within a week. d) The industry will not generate and discharge any trade effluent without obtaining prior written permission of the Board. e) The industry will operate & maintain its air pollution control device (APCD), regularly and efficiently, so as to achieve the stack emission standards, consistently as prescribed by the Board/ MoEF&CC as amended from time to time. f) The industry shall ensure that no black should be emitted from the stack of the industry at any time. g) The industry shall be liable to obtain Environment Clearance as required under EIA notification dated 14/9/2006, in case of increase in the production capacity further. h) The industry shall comply with the guidelines/SOPs provided by PSCST, Chandigarh in the effective operation of APCD. i) The industry shall not use any scrap containing Hazardous waste like shockers containing waste oil. j) The industry shall develop the vermicomposting/composting to manage the biodegradable solid waste. The industry shall not throw, burn or bury any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain / water bodies. k) The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. l) The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. 2. The electric connection may be restored temporary for the period of six months.
