Sir, the capacity of ETP installed by the industry as well as plantation area for disposal of effluent is adequate to handle entire pollution load, which is being generated for manufacture 1.0 TPH saila rice.
The industry is engaged in the manufacturing of saila rice @ 1.0 TPH by using paddy @ 1.5 TPH and accordingly, at max. 36.0 KLD trade effluent will be generated. The industry is having 0.5 acres plantation area, which is adequate to utilize entire trade effluent.
Keeping in view of above, it is again recommended that the fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Sorted Raw Rice (with dryer) @ 7.0 TPH & Parboiled Rice @ 1.0 TPH/Steamed Rice @ 3.0 TPH may be granted upto 30.09.2029, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
The competency for grant of consents/NOC to the rice shellers with or without dryer lies with the Environmental Engineer of the Regional Office. |
