Chemical Usage in Zinc Plating The following chemicals are used on a daily basis in our zinc plating operations: • Zinc Metal: 8 kg/day • Hydrochloric Acid (HCl): 12 kg/day • Brightener: 3.5 kg/day • Caustic Soda: 10 kg/day 2. Trade Effluent Discharge The total daily volume of trade effluent generated from our zinc plating activities is 0.35 KL/day. 3.
