It is intimated that the industry has applied fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for Recycling of E waste @ 1 MTD along with requisite documents.
The project proponent has submitted CA certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 1.18 crore as on 31.03.2024. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 7200/- vide UTR no. 796839162 dated 29.04.2024 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs.14400/- vide R no. 433345864 dated 29.04.2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee deposited by the project proponent is inadequate.
The project proponent has submitted GST certificate as proof of date of commissioning, as per which date of commencement is 19.12.2023.
The project proponent has submitted transfer of industrial plot no. 537 in favour on 99 year lease hold issued by PSIEC vide no. 24341 dated 13.03.2007 for manufacturing of Die & Mould.
The project proponent has submitted manufacturing process as under:
E waste Break with hammer Separation of Items Store in Different bins as per requirements Sale to authorized dealer for Recycling.
The project proponent has submitted approved site plan issued by PSIEC.
The site was visited by the officer of the Board on 19.06.2024 and during visit it was observed that no machinery has been installed by the project proponent in the industrial premises. The said plot was being used as godown.
In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be refused please.
