It is intimated that the tehsildar Dirba in reference to this office letter no. 2213 dated 29.04.2024 has informed on dated 03.05.2024 that the site of rice sheller is outside the 500 mtr radius from the phirni of the village. Further, earlier, the Tehsildar, Dirba vide its report dated 10.01.2024 informed that there is no residential area falls within radius of 500 mtr from the proposed site.
As such, the proposed rice mill is meets with the sitting guidelines as prescribed by the Govt. of Punjab.
In view above, it is recommended that the consent to establish (CTE) a new Saila plant for manufacturing of Dry/steamed @ 3.0 TPH and /parboiled rice @ 1.0 TPH by using Paddy @ 6.0 TPH under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry under orange category, subject to the suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board and following additional conditions as mentioned in above noting. |
