It is intimated that the HCF was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide No. CTOW/Renewal/HSP/2024/25693200 which was valid upto 30.06.2026 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTA/Varied/PBIP/SAS/2023/2306956852 valid upto 30.06.2026 for 100 beds.
The HCF has deposited Rs. 30000/- vide UTR No. N145243054477430 dated 24.05.2024 and Rs. 30000/- vide UTR No. N145243054410194 dated 24.05.2024. The fee deposited the HCF is adequate for the period upto 30.06.2029.
Now, the HCF has applied renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for 100 beds. The HCF has submitted agreement with CBWTF, undertaking regarding bed capacity, letter from MTP Hoshiarpur. The HCF has submitted letter from Corporation Engineer, Hoshiarpur bearing no. 4754 dated 10.11.2021 mentioning that the building plan passed under commercial / Hospital of six category and as per Master Plan the HCF on the road of commercial area. Earlier the HCE was visited by AEE (OS) and JEE (OS) of this office on 07.05.2024 & observed that:- 1. The HCE has 100 bed capacity. 2. The HCE has Male Medical Ward, Female Medical Ward, Labour Room, Operation Theater, Emergency Ward, ICU, Nursing Station, Lab. 3. Bio-medical waste generating point of HCE was visited and found that HCE has provided color coded buckets to collect segregated bio medical waste as per Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016. 4. Segregation of bio medical waste was found proper as per Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016. 5. The HCE has provided needle destroyer & sodium hypo-chlorite solution at different wards. 6. The HCE has maintained the record for lifting the bio medical waste. 7. The HCE has provided awareness charts depicting Bio Medical Waste, segregating plan. 8. The HCE has provided lifting station for the biomedical waste. 9. The HCE is complying with the Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016. 10. The HCE has installed ETP-cum- STP. The wastewater discharged into MC sewer after treatment through ETP-cum-STP. As per analysis report submitted by the HCF from the Centre for Environment and Food Technology Pvt. Ltd., New delhi darted 23.04.2024, the parameters of the same are pH- 7.56, TSS – 36 mg/l, TDS – 811 mg/l, BOD – 27 mg/l, COD – 102 mg/l, Oil and Grease @ 4.6 mg/l, Bio-Assay – 90% Survival (9 out 10 fishes are alive after 96 hrs) in 100% effluent. Keeping in view the above, if approved consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 30.06.2029 with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that the HCF has maintained the record of ETP-cum- STP regularly.
