Earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 under green category valid upto 31.03.2024 for manufacturing of leather board and sludge(commercial) board sheets of different quality @ 3000 Numbers/Day. The industry has deposited Rs. 84000/- vide UTR No. 991074671 dated 20.06.2024 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 92400/- (Rs. 84000/- under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 8400/- NOC fee) vide UTR No. 81786053 dated 20.06.2024 against the fixed assets of Rs. 351.07 Lacs, which are adequate upto 31.03.2034
In view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2033 with usual conditions as per policy of the Board.
