Sir, earlier the industry was granted varied consent to operate vide no. CTOW/Renewal/MOG/2019/10430300 & CTOA/Renewal/MOG/2019/10430115 dated 29.07.2019 for operation of unit for manufacturing of Parboiled rice/Steamed rice @ 2 TPH, Raw Rice @ 2 TPH, Sorted Rice @ 6 TPH under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, valid upto 30.06.2024 with conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Steamed Rice @ 2 TPH, Raw Rice @ 2 TPH along with sorted rice @ 6 TPH.
Accordingly, during visit to the industry on 20.06.2024 it was observed that the industry has disconnected the water supply pipeline to the handies to rule out the possibility of manufacturing of saila rice.
Submitted for approval as proposed earlier, please.
