Earlier, the industry was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Exp/HSP/2023/22374617 dated 22.06.2023 valid upto 21.06.2024 for production of raw rice (existing) @3.3T/Hour, Raw Rice (Proposed) @1.32T/Hour from Paddy (Existing) @5T/Hour, Paddy (Proposed) @ 2T/Hour with conditions mentione therein.
Now, the industry has again applied for consent to establish (NOC) for expansion under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Raw Rice (Existing) 3.3 T/Hr., Raw Rice (Proposed) 1.32 T/hr and by product @ Rice Bran (Existing) @ 0.4 T/hr, Rice Bran (Proposed) @ 0.16 T/hr., Rice Husk @ 1.0 T/hr. and Rice Husk (Proposed) @ 0.4 T/hr. from Paddy (existing) 5 T/hr. and Paddy (Proposed) 2 T/hr. along with 03 Rolla (existing) & 01 Rolla (Proposed), 02 Dedekar Petti (72) (existing), 01 Dedekar Petti (72) Proposed, 04 No. Polisher (existing), 02 No. Polisher (Proposed), 02 No. Dryer (existing), 01 No. Sortex Machine (existing) and 01 no. Shelling Section along with 02 No. cyclone already installed with request to extend the validity for NOC for expansion.
The industry has already submitted of DTP Letter bearing no. 439 DTP(H)/CF-1 dated 16.05.2023 mentioning that for storage space in the Khasra No. 73//9/2, 10/2, 11, 12, 19, 20, 21, 77//1 Total area 52 kana 8 marlas out of which the CLU of Kahsra No. 73//9/2, 12 (Area 1.27 Acre) has already been issued vide his office letter no. 281 DTP(H) CLU-1 dated 09.02.2011. The industry has submitted distance certificate from SDM, Garhshankar vide No. 621/M.C. dated 22.05.2023, CA Certificate, copy of Jamabandi, Akash Chijra, detail of machinery & production existing & proposed.
In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that the consent to establish (NOC) for expansion under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be extended for one year with suitable terms and conditions and with special conditions that :
1) The rice shaller shall comply with the DTP, Hoshiarpur letter no. 439 DTP(H)/CF-1 dated 16.05.2023 and SDM, Garhshankar vide vide no. 621/M.C. dated 22.05.2023.
2) The industry shall not increased any machinery without prior permission of the Board.
3) The industry shall submit the revised approved map from DoF/ Competent persons.
4) The industry shall comply all the guidelines issued by CPCB/PPCB time to time.
5) The industry shall develop the plantation area.
6) The industry shall not operate without varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 of the Board.
