Sir, point wise reply of the observations raised by the Competent Authority of the Board is as under:-
1. The compliance of the decision mentioned at S.no. 02 regarding affording an another opportunity of hearing to the industry is to be made by the higher authorities, please.
2. Sir, no publice complaint against the industry received thereafter. Further complaint was not made by any individual complainant; it was received from the colony through the office of Hon'ble MLA Sh.Madan Lal Bagga Ji.
3. Air emission sampling of the industry was carried out on 11.06.2024 and as per the analysis report received from the zonal lab, concentration of SPM was found 275 mg/Nm3 against the limit of 500mb/ Nm3, hence same was found within the limits prescribed by the Board.
In view of above, it is recommended that:-
1. Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2029 for dyeing for all type of fabrics (polyester/pc/cotton) @ 8000 kgs/day with suitable conditions and following special conditions that:
• The industry shall use only authorized fuel in its boiler.
• The industry shall not emit black smoke at any point of time, under any circumstance.
• The industry shall make proper and adequate arrangements for storage & disposal of Boiler Ash.
• The industry shall comply with the provisions of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.
• The industry shall ensure that the activities of unit does not create any nuisance in the surrounding areas and no public complaints are received
2. The action proposed against the unit regarding issuing notice u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with an opportunity of personal hearing maybe dropped please.
