Sir, the matter has been discussed with your goodself with worthy CEE(B) on 21.06.2024 and it was apprised that PDA enclave, Sangrur Road, Dhuri which is located adjacent to brick kiln, was granted consent to establish/NOC of the Board vide no. CTE/Fresh/SGR/2021/11810343 dated 20.08.2021 valid upto 19.08.2022 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and one of the following special condition-
The Project Proponent shall provide an buffer zone of 15 mtr towards air polluting industries and will not sell the residential plots bearing no. 143 to 187 (approx. area will be 13736.66 Sq. yards) till such time the Master Plan of Dhuri is notified.
It is pertinent to mention here that the colonizer has failed to obtain NOC extension till date. Presently, no house has been constructed in the colony and this office is perusing PDA to obtain NOC extension. In view of above, may if approved
1. Directions issued to the BKO u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be dropped accordingly directions issued to the DFSC may also be dropped
2. This office be allowed to grant varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 to BKO for manufacturing of Bricks / Tiles @ 30,000 Numbers/Day upto 30.06. 2026 with the condition that during this period the Brick kiln shall relocate to some other suitable place. Competency Worthy Chairman |
