It is submitted that earlier consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 was granted on the name & style M/s O.P. Sales Corporation from pollution angle vide no. CTOW/Renewal/MOG/2019/11299697 & CTOA/Renewal/MOG/2019/11299639 dated 04.11.2019 for operation of industry in the revenue estate of Madhe Ke Road, Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga for manufacturing of Raw Rice /Steamed Rice @ 4 TPH alongwith sorted rice @ 4 TPH along with conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the firm under the name & style of M/s HSN Overseas has purchased the above said unit and has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for operation of unit for manufacturing of raw rice with dryer @ 4 TPH alongwith sorted rice @ 4 TPH through OCMMS.
It is pertinent to mention here that as per record file of the industry, the total area of the unit is 3 kanlas 16 marlas, whereas, the unit has submitted registry of land area 8 kanals 6 marlas. Seems that the industry has increased its land area. But, the industry has not submitted any report from authorities i.e. DTP & Revenue for the increased land area.
The matter was discussed telephonically with representative of the industry, but no satisfactory reply has been submitted.
If approved, case may be returned with request to resubmit after compliance of above observations.
