Sir, the project proponent has applied for Consent to establish (NOC for first time) under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for setting up a unit for SEWING MACHINE BODIES PAINTED @ 200 Numbers/day by using Sewing Machine Bodies For Painting- Job Work @ 200 Number/Day, Piant @ 10 Ltr/Day, Putty @ 2 Kgs/Day, Zinc Chormate @ 3.0 Ltr/Day and Thinner @ 5.0 Ltr/Day The industry has filled online application form, Brief project report, site plan location plan, manufacturing process flow chart, sewage bill of water disposal rent deed.
The industry was visited by RO on 18.06.2024 and reported as under:- 1. The site is situated at B-23, PLOT No. 836, R.K. Road, Near Power Station, Ind Area- A, Cheema Chowk, Ludhiana. 2. The building of proposed project has been constructed. 3. The project proponent was in the process of installation of machinery for the proposed spray painting project. 4. The project proponent has proposed to install 2 nos. spray paint booth along with water curtain as APCD and 2 nos. electrically operated baking oven. Stack of adequate height has been proposed. 5. There will be no source of generation of trade effluent, only domestic effluent will be generated, which will be discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. 6. No D.G set has been proposed.
RO recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to established' (NOC for first time) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for 1 year for SEWING MACHINE BODIES PAINTED @ 200 Numbers/day with suitable condition and with special condition that the project proponent shall submit certificate from Competent Authority regarding suitability of site, in light of undertaking submitted by it well before obtaining consent to operate 2. In case the project proponent failed to submit said certificate from MC/DTP, the NOC granted shall stand canceled.
The site is situated at B-23, PLOT No. 836, R.K. Road, Near Power Station, Industrial Area- A, Cheema Chowk, Ludhiana and it seems that industry falls in industrial zone.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to establish' (NOC for first time) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for 1 year with special conditions as proposed by R.O, please.
