File Note: The industry has submitted reply to the SCN. The industry has submitted share DEMAT certificate, calculation regarding discharge, SCADA data and Rs. 72000/- as consent fee under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution Act) Act, 1974 vide online receipt no. 164256223 dated 08.06.2024, which is adequate upto 31.12.2029. Detail alonwith documents is attached herewith. The industry has been allotted 415 shares. The industry has installed 07 soft flow machines (450 kg x 01, 600 kg x 01 and 300 kg x 05). As per GNE calculations, estimated discharge of the industry is 340 KLD. Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that varied ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for period upto 30.06.2029 for production of Dyeing and Finishing of Polyester Fabric @ 12.750 T/day and Dyeing and Finishing of Cotton/Polyester-Cotton (PC) @5.1 T/day with discharge of trade effluent @ 415 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD with discharge of trade effluent @ 414.5 KLD & domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD subject to the condition that:- (i) The industry shall make the necessary arrangements to achieve the effluent standards as per the inlet designed parameters of the CETP. (ii) The industry shall stop discharging its effluent in case due to any reason the CETP is not operational or dedicated conveyance system is overflowing. (iii) The industry shall maintain the record of flow meter installed at outlet leading to CETP. (iv) The industry shall not generate/discharge trade & domestic effluent more than 415 KLD and shall discharge its trade & domestic effluent only into the conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD through single outlet. (v) The industry shall not install any new dyeing/ water polluting machinery without permission of the Board. (vi) The industry will use its winch machine for softening purpose only and if, the industry found using this winch machine for dyeing, the ‘Consent to Operate’ granted to it will be revoked. 2. Varied ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for to the industry for period upto 30.12.2024 for production of Dyeing and Finishing of Polyester Fabric @ 12.750 T/day and Dyeing and Finishing of Cotton/Polyester-Cotton (PC) @ 5.1 T/day alongwith one boiler of capacity 06 TPH with cyclone separator as APCD & DG set of 125 KVA subject to suitable conditions along with special condition that the industry will get its Air emission samples analyzed from Board’s lab within 01 month.
