The point wise reply w.r.t the observations raised is as under: -
1. The project proponent is proposed to utilize wastewater partially onto land for plantation and partially discharge into sewer. However, there is no STP installed at the terminal end of City Sangrur. Thus, the proposal submitted by project proponent is not in order.
2. No air polluting industry falls within the radius of 100 mtr of the site of colony.
3. The local enquiry reveals that the colony has been established in the year 2014. However, the colonizer has not submitted any documentary proof regarding its commissioning.
4. Earlier, the colonizer has not obtained any permission from the Board to construct houses at the site.
5. The colonizer is violating the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. As such, separate e-noting is being processed to take action against the colonizer.
In view of above, it is recommended that the NOC applied under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be refused. |
