As per the observations raised by the Competent Authority, the clarification was raised on the application to the HCF to submit the permission from the concerned department regarding increase in discharge of its effluent due to expansions from 85 beds to 100 beds. In reply to the clarification, the HCF submitted receipt slips issued by the MC Ludhiana, but no details/permission regarding discharge of the effluent is mentioned in the attached documents. Hence, the reply of the clarification is found to be unsatisfactory.
In view of the above, it is recommended that varied Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 applied the HCF may be granted for six months i.e. upto 31.12.2024 with general conditions and special conditions as under:
1. The HCF shall submit the permission for increased discharge of effluent into sewer from the concerned department within 02 months.
2. The HCF shall get its effluent samples analyzed from the Board's lab within 02 months. |
