• The industry was granted 'Consent to Establish' (NOC) on 27.06.2022 (valid upto 26.06.2023) for establishment of unit for the manufacturing of Aluminium Utensils @ 4.5 MTD using Aluminium Scrap as raw material with proposed ETP of capacity 10 KLD and common wet scrubber as APCD for 03 no. casting furnaces……..
• Application applied for obtaining fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981……………
• The visiting officer has reported that industry was visited on 12.06.2024 and it was observed that the industry was not in operation, 2 casting furnaces installed using furnace oil/wood as fuel with common hood further connected to wet scrubber as APCD. D.G. set of capacity 85 KVA installed with canopy and adequate stack height. ETP of capacity 5 KLD installed and the components of the ETP were in operationable condition, however washing of utensil was not in operation during visit. The industry has made the provision to discharge treated waste water onto land for plantation developed along the boundary wall and also for re-utilization for washing of the utencils. No violation reported under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981…………….
• In view of above, if approved, fresh consents to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted to the industry for manufacturing of Aluminum Utensils @ 4.5 MTD using Aluminum Scrap as raw material upto 30.09.2029/adequacy of consent fee, subject to the following special conditions that:-……………..
1. The industry will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. land area/production capacity without prior written permission of the Board…………….
2. The industry will get its air emission/effluent sample analyzed from the Board's lab/Approved lab of the Board as per the policy of the Board………………
3. The industry will operate its Effluent Treatment Plan (ETP) regularly & scientifically and shall maintain proper record of the effluent generated/treated……………
4. The industry will maintain its plantation area scientifically and shall ensure no stagnation in it and will be bound to increase the same in case of non-adequacy…………….
