The industry is a small-scale red category unit and earlier the industry was granted Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH4/2019/9935553 dated 14.06.2019, which is valid upto 30.06.2024 for manufacturing of Nuts & Bolts @ 1.5 MTD and End Cuttings @ 0.500 MTD by using Bolts/Nuts @ 1.5 MTD as raw material for discharge of domestic effluent @ 3.5 KLD into sewer.…………………………
Now, the industry has applied for varied Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 through OCMMS for manufacturing of Nuts & Bolts @ 1.7 MTD and End Cuttings @ 0.6 MTD by using Rods and bars @ 1.7 MTD as raw material……………………………
The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 30.06.2029…………………………….
The industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 21.05.2024 and it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation during visit & is engaged in heat treatment process.
2. There is no generation of trade effluent and domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.
The industry has now submitted an approved building plan approved by the Competent Person……………………………. .
The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 of the Board……………………………..
As proposed by Regional Office, may if approved, varied Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2029 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board……………………………..
