• Previous CTOs were valid upto 30.09.2024 for production of pesticides, bio-pesticides etc. @ 1 TPD & fertilizer, bio-fertilizer @ 2 TPD in plot no. F-71 & F-72 of IGC, Mansa Road, Bathinda……………
• Now application applied for obtaining varied consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for operation of industry in plot no. F-70, 71 & 72. Also, the visiting officer vide note dated 18.06.2024 has intimated that the industry has also added additional process of granular formulation & powder formulation section and has further intimated vide note dated 21.06.2024 that the industry increased its production capacity to for production of pesticides, bio-pesticides etc. @ 5 TPD & fertilizer, bio-fertilizer @ 4TPD…………..
• The visiting officer has further reported vide note dated 18.06.2024 that manufacturing activity is executed in plot no. F-72 and remaining 2 plots of F-70 & F-71 are being use only storage/office purpose. Wet scrubber installed as APCD in the liquid formulation and granular formulation section with adequate stack height. The wet scrubber installed as in operation. One no. forced evaporation tank provided for the effluent generated from the laboratory section. The expansion of the industry w.r.t. land area & production capacity can be regularized as the industry is located in the industrial growth centre………...
• In view of the note dated 18.06.2024 & 21.06.2024, if approved, CTO under the Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry for production of pesticides, bio-pesticides etc. @ 5 TPD & fertilizer, bio-fertilizer @ 4TPD for a period upto 30.09.2028/adequacy of consent fees, subject to the following special conditions that:-………..
1. The industry will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. land area/production capacity without prior written permission of the Board…………..
2. The industry will get its air emission sample analyzed from the Board'lab/approved of the Board as per the policy of the Board………….
3. The industry will ensure that the entire effluent generated from the process/laboratory section is forced evaporated and not to change the mode of disposal of the said effluent without prior written permission of the Board………….
