Sir, as per query of CEE Sir that to verify all the contentions made by industry during hearing especially regarding expansions made & resubmit with complete recommendations. Further, it be clarified whether consent applied includes expansion project or at previous status only.
RO has reported that the industry has 1.8 acres green area in the form of parks. Hydraulic loading of treated water in plantation area may be taken as under: By considering the lower limit of 1.5 ltr/m2/day, in the land area of 1.8 acres (7284.34 sqm) Green area, 10.9 KLD effluent will be discharged. However, if we consider upper limit of 5.5 ltr/m2/day, 40 KLD effluent may be discharged.
In view of above, it is clear that land area developed by the industry is only sufficient to discharge treated effluent @ 40 KLD only in summers.
As, the industry has 1 acre open land available for plantation to cover the future increase in domestic wastewater. Therefore, industry may be directed to develop the said 1 acre land for plantation under Karnal Technology.
the industry has applied for obtaining PWRDA permission for ground water extraction on 28.11.2023.
As observed during visit, the industry had not commissioned automatic phosphating and painting section. Further, it has assured to apply for NOC expansion and varied 'Consent to Operate' before commissioning of above said polluting machinery.
The industry has installed hydraulic presses with are fitted with shock absorbing shockers that reduces the vibration and produces less noise as compared to old technology.
The industry has signed an agreement with M/s Aggarwal Manufacturing Co. for disposal of hazardous waste of category 5.3 i.e. waste cutting oils.
the industry has submitted detail of increase in its fixed assets. From which, it is clear that there is no addition in the land and increase in fixed assets is due to purchase of misc. machineries.
The industry has applied 'Consent to Operate' for its previous status only.
The file is submitted for grant of consent as recommended earlier, please.
