It is intimated that the industry is a small scale orange category unit.
Earlier, the unit was granted consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/JAL/2020/13295806dated 08.09.2020 Valid upto 31.03.2025 with suitable conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the unit has applied for varied consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with requisite documents.
The industry has deposited Rs. 39825 /- vide UTR No. N303232708901404 dated 30.10.2023 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 8400 /- vide UTR No. N303232708904727 dated 30.10.2023 as NOC regularization fee, adequate upto 30.09.2027.
The unit was visited by EE alongwith AEE of this office on 24.06.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The premises is being used as restaurant and is having sitting capacity of around 100 persons.
2. During the visit, the restaurant was not in operation as electricity connection has been disconnected.
3. The restaurant has installed two D.G. sets of capacities 125 KVA & 70 KVA with canopies and adequate stack heights. Earlier, the restaurant had installed 02 D.G. sets of capacities 50 KVA and 25 KVA which have been replaced.
4. The restaurant has provided composting machine for treatment of its bio-degradable solid waste and the rest of the solid waste is being managed as per provisions of Solid Waste Rules, 2016.
In view of above, it is recommended that varied Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions.
