Sir, RO reported that as per the report of the committee, the industry is able to run its Evaporator only after diverting the entire steam from the process, as such the capacity of existing boiler is not adequate for the ZLD process. Further, the industry has valid consent under Air Act, 1981.
RO recommended that the consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be refused and the existing consent be revoked.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be refused and the existing consent granted to industry under the Air Act, 1981 be revoked, please.
