Kindly peruse the agenda note of AEE. In view of the facts mentioned in the agenda note of AEE, it is recommended that the varied 'consent to operate' under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for production of Round, Bars, Flats etc. @ 18 TPH or Ingots, Billets @ 84 MTD may be granted to the industry upto 30/09/2027 with suitable conditions and following special conditions:
1. The industry shall submit the permission regarding ground water abstraction from Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) within one month.
2. The industry shall be liable to comply with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
3. The industry shall comply with the guidelines/SOPs provided by PSCST, Chandigarh in the effective operation of APCD.
4. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent.
5. The industry shall keep a qualified person to handle the operation and maintenance of the APCD.
