Note history of the case be perused and observed that the HMP was not found emitted black smoke during the last visits made by this office. The CTO granted to the HMP was revoked due to regular complaint received against the HMP regarding black smoke. Thereafter, the matter was considered by the Competent Authority of the Board and it was decided to revoke the CTO and encash the bank guarantee of Rs. 50,000/-. Thereafter bank guarantee was encashed and CTO granted under Air Act 1981 was revoked.
Thereafter, during the personal hearing given to the HMP, it was directed to submit a fresh bank guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- as an assuarance not to emit black smoke and comply with the provisions of Air Act 1981 and to install CCTV Cameras at site.
The HMP has now installed the CCTV Cameras and has also submitted a fresh bank guarantee of Rs. 50000/- to comply with the air pollution norms.
Presently, the HMP was not in operation. The adequacy/efficiency of the APCD will be checked by this office as and when the HMP will re-start its operation.
