• The industry is engaged in formulation of Insecticide / Herbicide & Pesticide and was granted 'Consent to Establish' (NOC) dated 24.08.2007 vide Board's letter no. 1154 dated 24.08.2007 for formulation of Insecticide / Herbicide & Pesticide @ 5 TPD.............
• Thereafter, the industry failed to obtain CTOs under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981...............
• Now, application applied for obtaining fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and the visiting officer vide note dated 26.06.2024 has intimated that the industry has been commissioned in the year 2007-08 and there is no change in land area & production capacity of the unit form 2007-08. The total land area of the industry is 03 kanal 07 marlas bearing khasra no. 4873 in the revenue estate of village Panjgrain, Tehsil Kotkapura, Distt. Faridkot is name of the Prop. of the industry. The industry has submitted the proof its date of commissioning from 2007-08 onwards and has also deposited the consent fees from 2007-08...............
• Further the visiting officer has reported that the industry was visited on 20.06.2024 and was found in operation for liquid formulation, wet scrubber installed as APCD with adequate stack height. Forced evaporation system installed for the evaporation of the effluent generated from the laboratory section. Septic tank provided for the treatment of the domestic effluent. The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.................
• In view of the above, if approved, consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry for formulation of Insecticide / Herbicide & Pesticide @ 5 TPD for a period upto 30.09.2028, subject to the following special conditions that:-............
1. The industry will not undergo any expansion w.r.t. land area/production capacity without prior written permission of the Board. ...............
2. The industry will ensure to force evaporate the effluent generated from the laboratory section and will not change its mode of disposal without prior written permission of the Board...............
3. The industry will get its emission sample analyzed from the Board'lab/Approved lab of the Board as per the policy of the Board...............
