It is submitted that the industry was earlier issued following directions u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide Board’s letter no. 7109 dated 21/11/2022:
“That the industry will immediately stop the operation of the boiler of capacity 40 TPH”
Thereafter, approval has been accorded by the Competent Authority for grant of CTO with operations of boiler of capacity 40 TPH.
In view of the above, before issuance of CTO, if approved, directions earlier issued to the industry u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 may be dropped, please. |
