Whilst processing the application by this office, the following observations were made: 1. In the feasibility report of pollution control arrangement submitted by the project proponent, the water requirement for the project has been calculated considering occupancy of 5 persons/ plot, which is not in line with the Department of Housing and Urban Development notification no. G.S.R. 144/P.A.11/1995/Ss.180 and 43/2021 dated 31.08.2021, wherein it has been specified that for calculation of infrastructure required for the project, the population of plotted development shall be counted @ fifteen persons per plot, hence the calculation of water pollution load as well as the disposal arrangements needs to be re-assessed by the project proponent. Therefore, it is required to submit revised feasibility report with calculation of water load taking 15 persons/ plot instead of 5 persons/ plot as well as re-assessing the calculation of water pollution load & the disposal arrangements required. 2. Furthermore, the project proponent has proposed for disposal of surplus treated effluent onto adjoining 4 acre agriculture land for irrigation purpose. If the wastewater generation & thereby disposal is increased in lieu to consideration of occupancy @ 15 persons/ plot as per aforementioned observation point no. 1, then the project proponent is required to submit additional plantation area required as per revised calculations. 3. In lieu to consideration of occupancy @ 15 persons/ plot as per aforementioned observation point no. 1, the quantity of effluent from the project shall be greater than 100 KLD, as such it shall be covered under Red Category and is required to apply for CTE under Red Category as well (in accordance with CPCB letter dated 12.01.2021) and also to deposit CTE fees accordingly.
