The report /recommendations of Regional Office be perused. Earlier, the unit was and found bye-passed of the effluent onto nearby land for stagnation. And on another visit The unit was found storing effluent in mobile tanker to be disposed unscientifically.
Now The restaurant owner has now refurbish the STP. The aeration tank has been cleaned of sump and blower has been replaced. Permanent pipe line has been made for discharge of its effluent to plantation area. The restaurant has now taken adjoining land measuring 0.75 acres on lease for discharge onto land for plantation. Plantation has been carried out on this land as per Karnal Technology.
May if approved:-
1. Direction be issued for temporary restoration for electricity connection for six months.
2. Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air Act 1981 may be granted for six months with suitable conditions and with special condition that:-
a) The industry shall get its effluent sample monitored from Board within 2 months.
