As per note of EE RO Patiala, RO is pressing the BKO to get the pellets utilised and also mentioned the decision of the Hon’ble High Court….
As such In view of the recommendations of EERO Patiala, the following actions may be taken 1. Directions u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 earlier issued to the BKO due to non conversion into induced draft technology may be dropped as the BKO has already upgraded its kiln and also submitted completion certificate in this regard. 2. Regional office may be allowed to grant consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the varied consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 30.09.2027 for manufacturing of for manufacturing of Bricks @ 20,000 Nos./day (Induced / High Draft Zig Zag Technology) with suitable conditions, please.
