The Industry is a Rice Sheller unit and has earlier obtained Consent to Establish vide no. CTE/Fresh/BTI/2023/21879388 dated 15.05.2023 valid upto 14.05.2024 for the manufacturing of Dry/Sorted Rice @ 5 TPH with dryer.
Now the industry has applied for Consent to Operate for operation of the rice sheller for the manufacturing of Dry/Sorted Rice @ 5 TPH with dryer.
The industry has deposited CTO fees @ 56700/- vide no. 361025804 & 895684595 dated 18.6.2024 against the fixed asstes of Rs. 242 lacs the fees is adequate upto 30.9.2028
The industry has submitted copy of self-certification as completion certificate stating that the APCD installed are adequate.
The industry has submitted that they have already obtained in-principle approval from the Govt and will get the building plans approved from concerned dept within the timelines of this approval.
The Industry has been granted. To check the compliance status of the Industry, the industry was visited on 21.06.2024 and it was observed as under:
1. The Industry was not in operation during the visit.
2. The Industry has installed cyclones as APCD with the shelling section as well as the paddy cleaner of the dryer section with adequate stacks and sampling arrangements.
3. The Industry has provided pucca road within the premises for the movement of vehicles.
4. The Industry has provided fresh plantation along the boundary wall within the premises.
5. The Industry has provided windscreen (Jali) over the wall of adequate height in the husk storage area.
6. The industry has installed septic pits for the disposal of the domestic effluent generated.
From the above, it is clear that the industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.
If approved, CTO under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry with validity upto 30.9.2028.
