New Retail Outlet , On Dhuri-Sangrur road, Village Akoi, Distt. Sangrur
The project proponent has proposed to establish a new petrol pump under small scale green category for Petrol & Diesel @ 10000 Ltr/day at location; On Dhuri-Sangrur road, Village Akoi, Distt. Sangrur, of M/s Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., without generating any trade effluent. The domestic effluent @ 0.5 KLD will be discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
The project proponent has submitted Tehsildar report, project report, lease deed of land, Drawing approved by PESO and DC letter along with LOI issued by M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
The project proponent has deposited NOC fee of Rs. 2,200/- (Rs. 1,400 deposited vide UTR. No. 33030911 dated 22.06.2024 and Rs. 800/- vide UTR no. 11139340 dated 26.06.2024) as NOC fee against the proposed project cost of Rs. 29.42 Lacs, which is adequate.
The project proponent has submitted report issued by Tehsildar, Dirba vide letter its dated 20.06.2024, wherein, it is mentioned that the site of the said project having land bearing Khasra No. 1328/304 (0-11-10) measuring 8 kanal 6 marle in Village Akoi, Distt. Sangrur. There is no gas pipeline, hospital, school, and religious place falls within the 50 mtr radius of the project site. Further, it is mentioned that boundary wall of a house falls within the radius of 30 mtr from the proposed site. However, construction of that house is falling outside of 30 mtr radius from the proposed site.
The site of the project was also visited by the officer of this office on 27.06.2024 and observed as under:
1. The site of the unit is located at Village Akoi Sahb, District Sangrur.
2. The project proponent has taken land on lease, which is valid upto 31.07.2048. Presently the land of the project is lying vacant.
3. There is no gas pipe line, hospital, educational institute, approved residential area/colony, water source and religious place falls within 50 mtr radius of the proposed site. There is no high tension wire passes over the site. Hence, the site is suitable for establishment of proposed petrol pump.
4. As per the project proposal, there will no generation of any trade effluent and there will be no source of air emission.
5. The industry has proposed to discharge its domestic effluent onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.
6. The project proponent has proposed to install a D.G set of capacity 25 KVA equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.
7. The project proponent has assured that it will be bound to comply with the guidelines issued by CPCB/PPCB.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the project proponent may be issued consent to establish/NOC for setting up proposed petrol pump with usual conditions and special condition that
1. The petrol pump will be bound to comply with the guidelines issued by the CPCB vide its notification no. 10802-10847 dated 07.01.2020.
2. The petrol pump will be bound to comply with the conditions imposed in Letter of Intent issued by M/s Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
