Kindly peruse the note of AEE. On perusal of note of AEE, it is intimated that the industry has proposed to install induction furnace of capacity 6 TPH. It is commonly observed that induction furnaces with capacities less than 7 TPH generally produce fewer secondary emissions. The side hood system evolved by the PSCST, Chandigarh is effective in tackling these emissions. However, to ensure consistency in the system, it is recommended to impose an additional condition requiring the implementation of a system to control secondary emissions. |
