1. As per decision of the hearing of CEE-J dated 7.12.23, the industry was to submit BG of Rs. 50,000/- as an assurance to operate its STP to achieve the prescribed standards and comply with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 but in compliance till date unit did not submit Bank Guarantee of Rs. 50,000/-.
From above, it seems that the PP has yet to deposit the BG.
2. PP was issued directions for closure. It is to confirm as to whether all the incompletion/violations reported at the time of closure has been addressed.
3. Further, PPCB has issued guidelines for units in 2021 on the basis of mechanism submitted by CPCB in Hon'ble NGT.
No compliance there to is submitted.
4. As per note history, AEE reported that PP has applied for varied consent to operate under the Water and Air Act for increased production & trade effluent capacity. It is to clarify as to whether the unit is entitled for the varied CTO for above parameters i.e. increased in production and effluent. Means, the unit is located in earmarked zone or have any other documents of confirmatory zone.
