The industry has submitted written assurance not to manufacture Saila rice without permission of the Board.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the fresh consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Sorted raw rice with dryer @ 2.0 TPH and Steamed rice @ 2.0 TPH by using Paddy @6.0 TPH may be granted upto 30.09.2029, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board. The competency for grant of consents/NOC to the rice shellers with or without dryer lies with the Environmental Engineer of the Regional Office.
