Point wise reply to the queries raised by Zonal Office is as under:
1. It is submitted that during visit no flow was available at the outlet of STP hence the sample could not be collected but the same shall be collected during the next visit of the area and report shall be submitted. Photograph of the outlet is attached in the note.
2. The hospital the hospital has laid pipeline for disposal of treated wastewater in the plantation area. Photograph taken during visit is attached in the note..
3. During visit it was observed the hospital has provided separate pipeline and tank for collection of RO reject which is being used for dual plumbing purpose. Photographs taken during visit is is attached in the note.
4. Earlier, the RO reject was being discharged into Rain Water Harvesting well, which has now been disconnected and separate arrangement has been provided for collection and usage of the same. The representative has informed that about 700 ltr/day of RO reject is generated and discharged. The hospital has applied for discharge of total treated wastewater @ 50 KLD, which is to be primarily used in plantation area/green area and the additional effluent shall be discharged into sewer. The hospital has sought consent to operate for discharge onto land for plantation and the additional will be sent to sewer. The hospital has already been guided to provide flow meter on the pipeline leading to sewer so that quantification of the flow can be done.
This is for kind information and further necessary action please.
