Also legal opinion in the case has been obtained by RO from Sh Amrik Singh, SLO of the Board, which is attached in the above note.
In view of the above and legal opinion/ recommendations of EE, RO, SAS Nagar, it is recommended that
A. legal action against the project proponent may please be kept abeyance at the moment as the matter is still under consideration of the Hon'ble National Green Tribunal.
B. Consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2025 subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions as proposed by RO, please please.
