Please peruse reply dated 01.07.2024 of AEE.
1. The industry has closed down wet process, which was earlier used for surface treatment. Therefore, there is no generation of the trade effluent by the industry and no ETP is required at this stage. It has been inadvertently mentioned by AEE that the wastewater is being taken to ETP plant for treatment.
2. The list of sources of air emission from the industry have been clarified by in its agenda/ inspection note attached by AEE.
In view of above, it is again recommended for grant of CTOs to the industry under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 upto 31.03.2029 with suitable conditions, please.
