It is submitted that the undersigned has been promoted to the rank of SEE vide Govt. order no 869473 dated 26.06.24 and the same is under posting and yet to be posted. Further to avoid the delay in processing the application received through the INVEST PUNJAB portal of EE RO-4 Ludhiana, the application is hereby forwarded.
Submitted for approval as proposed by AEE with additional condition may be imposed that
The STP Balloke is being regularly monitored by the Board and in case of its non-compliance. The project proponent may shall also be liable to take all adequate measures to achieve environmental standards. Also in the future, if at any stage the STP Balloke regularly fails to achieve the desired standards prescribed by the Board, then the project proponent shall be liable to install and operate its treatment plant so as to achieve the desired environmental standards as per the MoEF&CC/PPCB. l
Suppose at any stage the STP Balloke regularly fails to achieve the desired standards prescribed by the Board. In that case, this consent to operate under the Water Act,1974 shall be deemed cancelled and the Board shall not be responsible for any financial liability arising due to the cancellation of this consent to operate. In such case, the project proponent shall apply for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act,1974 along with their adequate capacity STP and concrete proof for alternate modes of disposal of treated effluent like availability of adequate land for utilizing treated effluents for plantation or to adopt other environmentally sound effluent disposal arrangements.
The project proponent shall not discharge any domestic effluent (treated or untreated) into choe / drain /river or in any inland surface water at any time or any other unauthorized place by any unauthorized means. In case of any violation action u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 will be initiated for closure of the project proponent without further notice.
