Sir, as per report of RO, directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 has already been confirmed against M/s Kova Fastener Pvt. Ltd. Currently, only M/s Luxmi Electro Plating, E-177, Phase-IV, Focal Point, Ludhiana is operating its unit.
If approved: 1. The Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2026. 2. Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be issued for restoration of electric connection of the industry permanently as per the policy of the Board, please. (Category - Red, small) (Competency lies with SEE for deciding consent case and for notice/ directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, competency lies with CEE Ludhiana), please.
