The industry has not yet submitted adequacy certificate of pollution control device upgraded by it. The industry is required to submit adequacy certificate from Institute of Repute.
CTOs are required to be renewed only for the operation of the unit at 60% capacity.
In view of the above and recommendations of EE, RO, SAS Nagar, it is recommended that
a) Directions may be issued to PSPCL authorities for permanent restoration of electric connection of the industry.
b) CTO under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry to operate its unit at 60% capacity for six months subject to suitable conditions and the additional conditions as proposed by RO, please.
